About Game On for a Kure
Game On for a Kure was founded in 2016 by 12 year old Ryan Bloch to honor his Grandma Aileen who passed away in 2015 from a rare cancer. She always believed Ryan should put his passion for playing to a good cause. To date, Game On for a Kure has helped the Aileen Sherman Memorial Fund raise over $26,000! This year’s Game On for a Kure invites fellow gamers to an exclusive Fortnite Battle Royal with the goal of raising $15,000.
Kure It Cancer Research created the Aileen Sherman Memorial Fund in her memory and all the monies raised through this campaign will go toward underfunded and rare cancer research. Kure It, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has raised nearly $7 million and funded 33 research projects at 13 cancer centers.
